Dr Paul Lohmann is a postdoctoral research associate at the El-Erian Institute of Behavioural Economics and Policy at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. His research lies at the intersection of behavioural economics, environmental economics and public policy and focuses on the design and evaluation of evidence-based environmental policies aimed at enhancing the welfare of both individuals and society. A central focus of this work involves conducting large-scale experiments, both online and in real-world settings. 


Paul Lohmann holds a PhD in Behavioural Environmental Economics and an MPhil in Environmental Policy both from the Department of Land Economy, University of Cambridge. Dr. Lohmann currently serves on the steering committee of the International Behavioural Public Policy Association, a multi-disciplinary community of scholars and practitioners with a shared interest in utilising behavioural insights to inform public policies and improve citizen’s welfare.
