Lorenza is a United Nations professional with a career spanning nearly three decades, marked by positions of increasing responsibility at global, regional, and national levels. As a serial change maker, she has spearheaded numerous initiatives, most notably the development of the “Gender Responsive Standards Declaration”, now signed by over 80 countries, which integrates a gender lens in the creation of standards and technical regulations. 

Currently, she is working with the Resident Coordinator’s Office in Serbia to translate UN vision into reality on the ground. She is additionally a trained Climate Reality Leader, a Climate Fresk facilitator, and an activist for the transformation of food systems, worldwide, so they deliver for people, planet and prosperity. A trade economist by training, Lorenza holds a Master’s degree from the Graduate Institute for International Studies (Geneva) and a Bachelor’s degree from Bocconi University (Milan) .
