Prof. Soufani’s research and teaching interests include circular economy, sustainable economic growth, innovation, corporate finance, financial and managerial strategy, entrepreneurial finance, the economics and finance of small-medium sized enterprises, and financial economics. He was a tenured Associate Professor of Financial Economics in Canada, and has been a visiting professor in a number of European Universities. He was previously an investment banker in Bond and Money Market and his academic and research work has been published in top international journals such as Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, Stanford Social Innovation Review, and others. In addition, the research work are included in policy reports by the EU, UN organizations, and the World Economic Forum.

He is a member of the Economics and Policy subject group at Cambridge Judge Business School, which analyses how economics can improve growth and business performance.

Professor Soufani is the Director of the Cambridge EMBA and the Director of the Circular Economy Centre at the University of Cambridge.
