This year’s theme, “Competitiveness in Turbulent Times,” will explore how institutions, governments, and businesses can adapt to an increasingly complex and volatile global environment while remaining resilient, innovative, and sustainable. In an era defined by economic disruption, geopolitical fragmentation, climate urgency, and rapid technological transformation, staying competitive requires more than passive adaptation. It requires bold strategies, forward-thinking leadership, cross-sector collaboration, and a deep commitment to sustainability as a core component of every decision.
Over the course of two days, SDF 2025 will convene leading thinkers, policymakers, and practitioners from across the globe to share cutting-edge research, real-world case studies, and future-ready solutions. The Forum will explore key dimensions of competitiveness, including economic resilience and agility in the face of uncertainty, innovation as a catalyst for sustainable growth, and leadership models capable of navigating systemic transitions.
Special focus will be placed on the future of global trade in a fragmented world, from the reconfiguration of supply chains and the rise of digital trade to the increasing influence of
regional blocs and strategic partnerships. The evolving intersection of technology and competitiveness will also be addressed, particularly the role of artificial intelligence, clean energy, food systems, and financial innovation in shaping more adaptable and inclusive economies.
In addition, the Forum will highlight how green strategies and climate-forward thinking are no longer just ethical imperatives, but decisive competitive advantages in today’s marketplace. Public-private partnerships, long considered drivers of development, will be discussed in terms of how they can be reimagined to create systemic value and long-term impact.
Organised in collaboration with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Cambridge Judge Business School, SDF 2025 provides a unique platform for exchange, insight, and action.
