About

A sustainable fingerprint

The Sustainable Development Forum (SDF) is a key platform for discussing and promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted at the UN Sustainable Development Summit 2015. The SDF plays a crucial role in advancing these global goals through a series of conferences on different focus areas.

As sustainable development connects issues in economics, politics, environment, social and urban development, the SDF brings together experts from multiple fields to lead a dialogue on sustainable solutions. Our conferences provide an opportunity for businesses, academics, and professionals representing the public sector to exchange ideas and formulate and develop new policies and business strategies.

In order to achieve all 17 SDGs in time, more global, diverse involvement and contribution are essential; from national government policies to private sector development and civil society participation. The SDF contributes to this effort by encouraging and widening participation, and developing strategies for implementing these goals, using the conferences as a platform.
